U12 (& Director, Membership Development) - Kate Lovett
Hi! My name is Kate Lovett and I’m the U12 parent rep. I have 2 boys- Isaac who is a second year U12 and Sam who is a second year U10. I really enjoy being part of the Wentworth Ski Race Club board and look forward to welcoming new members and keeping our current members informed and happy! My favourite ski run is ANY that has snow- but I’m particularly fond of laying out turns on Lollapalooza at Sunday River or enjoying the beauty of the Sidney Dawe trees at MSA.
Outside of skiing, I enjoy cooking, reading, biking, camping, boating, and craft beer J
I’m looking forward to a wicked 2017-2018 ski season.

U14 - Brad Hatfield
Brad Hatfield- Daughter Delaney is 2nd year U14. Love winter weekends in the Valley of Snow. Avid golfer and hiker when not skiing. Late afternoon you can find me exploring the top of Wentworth Mountain with our golden retriever. Favorite run is "Gun Barrels" after 30 cm of fresh crisp fluffy powder or "La Charlevoix" with the alders slapping you in the face! Please connect anytime at Brad.Hatfield@hotmail.com.
U16 - Robin Thorsteinson
I have three boys in the program, Sam, Zac and Charlie. I love to ski anywhere and everywhere, and my favourite run is Tin Woodsman at Sunday River. When I am not on the slopes, I am trying to keep up with my boys or doing yoga.

U16 - Tim Harmon
Hello to all the WSRC parents out there, I am sure you are all looking forward to the start of the 2017/18 ski race season!
My wife Lisa Harmon and I have been involved with the WSRC since 2006, we have two daughters Jessica Harmon 15 and Ali Harmon 18. Ali is currently a U10 coach for the WSRC and she raced competitively for Wentworth for 7 years, Ali's highlight in her career was competing for NS on the alpine team at the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George BC. Jessica is currently a second year U16 racer and raced at Nationals in Thunder Bay in 2016 and Can Am's at Sugar Loaf USA in 2015.
As a Wentworth race parent I had to fast track and learn all about the ski race equipment, race travel, tuning and wax, budgeting, etc etc. Gregor and Mike know I still have a long way to go LOL! I am available anytime though for advice or guidance for your athlete, or yourselves, also sometimes it nice to just sit down and chat over a pint or two at Ducky's!
My wife Lisa and I have become the official timing crew for most of our WSRC races, running the equipment and computers and yes we get to go into the warm timing hut
We definitely need to set up some parents to take over this role one day as Jess will be in University before we know it, so please let me know if you are interested in learning more about this important position.
In my spare time you will catch me training for Iron Mans, running, cycling, swimming, or fly fishing the Wallace River for Trout and Atlantic Salmon. I am also known to enjoy a Pheasant or Grouse hunt with my best friend Rossi the black Labrador.

My husband Ryan and I are proud parents of Will who is in his second year of WSRC and loving every second of it. Our favourite place to ski is anywhere together, but we are especially excited to move into our new cottage in Wentworth so that we can spend much more time in and around our home hill getting involved in WSRC events and getting to know everyone. susannetownsend@hotmail.co
